OOD
edit1. Bus routes changed/ destinations 2. Fleet additions/removals 3. Now call at Liverpool South Parkway, despite the white elephant claims... something to do with parent company Stagecoach and East Midlands trains....
Also the article requires cleanup, as there is rather a lot of information thrown in and needs sorting through and properly verifying. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.241.124.151 (talk) 23:01, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Merge discussion
editThe past addition of Chester and Rock Ferry depots into this article, and their recent removal, seems to me to highlight a problem: "Stagecoach Merseyside" isn't really a distinct entity (and nor for that matter is "Stagecoach Chester and The Wirral"). It's simply one depot out of five that belong to Glenvale Transport Ltd, t/a Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire.
I don't believe that the Gillmoss depot has any longer any characteristics that make it sufficiently distinct from the company/division as a whole to merit a separate article. Its historical development as a standalone unit is adequately catered for by the existence of the Glenvale Transport article. The minor branding variation "Stagecoach in Merseyside" is no more notable than any other depot-specific branding, and in my experience it doesn't form a particularly predominant usage - for example, transport authority Merseytravel refers to the operator as simply "Stagecoach" in its timetables and maps; the Liverpool Echo tends to refer to either "Stagecoach" or "Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire"; and Stagecoach itself uses only the "Merseyside and South Lancashire" form on its website.
I therefore suggest, to reduce duplication and confusion, that this article be merged into Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire, but would welcome any other viewpoints.

- I think that would be a good idea. None of the other operations within Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire have their own separate article so I think a merger of the Stagecoach Merseyside and SM&SL articles would be the way forward JamesSteamPacket (talk) 00:09, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
