Stagecoach Cooks

If stagecoach cooks are trading under a different name, surely they should have a different article ??? Thenthornthing 14:11, 4 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Stagecoachdevonlogo.gif

edit

Image:Stagecoachdevonlogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Infobox Image

edit

I think that something similar to the previous solo images should be kept rather than the n113 open topper. I think the main image should be one which reflects Stagecoach in Devon as a whole, which - careful how I word this incase it's like an advert - needs to be an image of maybe the dart SLF's, the tridents or the new enviro 400's not really buses which rarely see service, will probably soon be scrapped or transferred - and when most other vehicles have flip-dot or LED displays. I will see if I can find a free alternative on flickr, if not will brighten up my original one. If anyone else wants to change the image to a more suitable one I see no reason as long as it's a bit more of a summary of SCD. Thenthornthing (talk) 05:21, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, kudos on finding a bus so unique to Devon, that was my original motivation for displaying the open topper, although I would have appreciated you keeping it in the article rather than replacing it, I have added it further down. As for the original image, I think I must have been looking at it from an odd angle on my screen, because it doesn't look as dark as I remember (it could still do with lightening). I don't think it would be appropriate as an infobox image though, but if you can add it further down, with details of for which route this bus is green. Sorry I didn't think of adding it i further down, glad that you have though. As for the Solo image, I'll lighten it sometime and add again in the article - just not in the infobox. Thanks Thenthornthing (talk) 12:33, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
