Stars (Grace Potter & the Nocturnals song)Stars (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals song) – For consistency, the actual name of the group in Wikipedia listing is Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (not &). We have another song from Grace Potter and the Nocturnals which also uses the "and" See Medicine (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals song) werldwayd (talk) 17:35, 23 November 2012 (UTC) werldwayd (talk) 19:20, 27 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Song credits

edit

Considering that credits are listed in the Paris (Ooh La La) and Medicine (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals song) articles, I see no reason why the same can't be done here. Also, because there are two different versions of this song (each with a different band lineup), I don't see why the credits for both versions can't be listed here, as other song articles (about songs with two different versions by the same artist) list the credits for both versions, so I'm gonna go ahead and list the credits for both versions, using the same source as in the album article. 2601:153:881:3D60:3C0A:32A3:8060:3628 (talk) 04:31, 22 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Authorship

edit

I don't know why the infobox listed "Lyrics by Grace Potter, music by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals" nor do I know who added that info. All I know is that I've been looking for reliable sources to support that information, and whoever made that edit, it's his/her responsibility to add citations. In addition, the album jacket credits the song's authorship entirely to Grace Potter, so I edited the article accordingly. I'm gonna go ahead and make a dummy edit to notify anyone heavily involved with the article about this discussion.2601:153:881:3D60:988B:E816:5979:73C0 (talk) 01:16, 24 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Meaning

edit

Grace Potter wrote this song as a tribute to a friend who died due to not being chemically well balanced. Potter confirmed this in an interview with "The Boot". As I said in my talk page, I edit with my phone, so I don't know how to add references. If someone could help with that, maybe we could add that information to the article, if it's somehow relevant. Even so, I'm well aware that just because something is verifiable doesn't mean that it's suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. 2601:153:801:1C70:B5DD:F355:66BB:828A (talk) 11:26, 11 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
