Response != Transition
editI disagree with "The first term is known as the zero-input response and represents how the system's state would evolve in the absence of any input. The second term is known as the zero-state response and defines how the inputs impact the system". What is actually shown is the zero-input/zero-state *transition*. The described response terms are found in y(t) instead of x(t), because y(t) = total response = zero-input response + zero-state response Selquim (talk) 11:53, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
