Xi Jinping visits many nations, he has visited India and Sri Lanka recently, We can't open new pages for every visit when pages on "bilateral relations" already exists. What if Jinping visits Pakistan is 2018 again? Is there will be another page on it or you will add it to China–Pakistan relations?? Barack Obama also visits many nations, but everything is written in page of "bilateral relations", one can't make separate page for each visit. --Human301520:26, 22 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
I would say this visit is significant because it is only the 2nd visit to Pakistan by a Chinese leader in the 21st century. Also, the close relations between China and Pakistan, and the $46 billion investment for the Pak China Economic Corridor are other reasons why this visit is more significant than any ordinary state visit. Anyway, is there any tradition on wikipedia to make separate article of single visit of any prime minister or president to any particular nation?? Atleast give some article examples on such issues because there are certainly some more big deals between other two nations than 46.
You are saying Xi visited Pak 2nd time in 21st century but secret thing that most of people don't know is that its just 15 years since this century started, and Chinese premier visited Pak 2 times in 15 years, which is good average. Many Presidents or Prime Ministers of big nations visited many small nations after decades. Like Narendra Modi visited many nations like Fiji after nearly 3 decades, same applies to Xi and Obama. Even with this average Xi will visit Pak for 8-9 times in 21st century and having article on every visit is not the tradition. Better write it to China–Pakistan relations. --Human301505:44, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, there are examples like 1972 Nixon visit to China and others. I am just stating my opinion, which is that this state visit was more significant in many ways than other visits to Pakistan by leaders of countries, and the sources discuss why that is the case.
