The word "bequest" in the second sentence("...permitting bequest by will".)should be replaced by 'devise'. 'Bequest' is a testamentary gift of chattels, a 'devise' is a testamentary gift of realty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.212.80.149 (talk) 23:57, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
Fee simple and Fee tail?
editCan someone explain how this relates to the concepts of fee simple and fee tail? Did the law only apply to the former? LastDodo (talk) 11:38, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
