  • ... that in the late 1940s the steam tug Brent (pictured) removed war-related debris, including naval mines, from the River Thames?
  • Source: "Brent (1945), seen searching the Thames for mines and other wartime debris in the late 1940s, was originally the prefabricated tug TID 159." from: Robins, Nick (30 August 2017). Wartime Standard Ships. Casemate Publishers. p. 445. ISBN 978-1-84832-378-0.
  • ALT1: ... that the steam tug Brent (pictured) was, for more than 20 years, a private yacht? Source: "BRENT was saved for preservation by Ron and Janet Hall in 1971. She was successfully used as a floating home and tug yacht, with minimal alteration to her original fabric, but some changes made to allow for living on board. The engine room and machinery are still entirely as original. For some 25 years she sailed round Thames and East Coast waters and twice went as far as the Netherlands. Due to concerns about her boiler, she was laid up in 1994." from: "Brent". National Historic Ships. Retrieved 15 August 2024.
  • ALT2: ... that the steam tug Brent (pictured) towed fireworks barges for celebrations of the coronation of Elizabeth II? Source: "In 1953, being one of the newest craft in the PLA’s fleet, she pulled the firework barges for the Queen’s Coronation celebrations on the Thames." from: "Brent". National Historic Ships. •   Approved: Long enough, moved to mainspace within the window. Article is generally in good shape, well cited and neutral in tone. I have made some minor copyedits, and would advise clarification of the sentence She has a length of 65 feet (20 m), length overall of 73.61 feet (22.44 m) to be clear on the distinction between "length" and "length overall", for non-nautical readers. Images are appropriately licensed and I have no other concerns about copyvio, BLP or other serious policy issues. All hooks check out and I think are all good for the front page, at the promoting admin's discretion. QPQ is done. Good to go -- nice work. UndercoverClassicist T·C 09:44, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the review. Yes, I meant to go back and add links to clarify the measurements, I have now done so - Dumelow (talk) 18:16, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
