The Purbecks
editNot sure what the original author meant by The Purbecks, which is possibly a reference to one or more of the Isle of Purbeck, the Purbeck Hills, or the Purbeck local government district. I'm sure Steeple is in the last of these, less sure about the others, so I've disambiguated to the district. If you know better, feel free to change. -- Chris j wood 12:36, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
I believe all three are correct. Steeple parish is on a main ridge of the purbeck hills. K9ine (talk) 00:43, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
I must get around to adding some Steeple info but here are some ideas Church of St. Michael and All Angels including 'Stars and Stripes' heraldic device above door. Giant Clay Pit between West Creech Farm Buildings and Rookery Farm buildings. Creech Grange and Creech Arch folly. Built by ? Bought by Bond family, taken over by army. American Flag connection, Washington and Laurence? heraldic eblems? Maybe I'll Start soon K9ine (talk) 00:43, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
