Some questions
edit- Should the fact be mentioned that Franscini was one of "only" two Catholics in the first Federal Council of 1848?
- Should the fact be mentioned that Franscini was never elected vice-president and hence never became President of the Swiss Confederation?
- Should either be mentioned in the lead, or worked into the section "Federal Council" instead, perhaps providing some context of the regional distribution of Catholic liberalism and of how presidents (i.e. vice-presidents) were selected prior to the current seniority/rotational principle?
In case anyone is reading, what do you think? Does this border on factoid or is it remarkable enough for an entry? Your thoughts are appreciated. ---Sluzzelin talk 16:52, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
