References are missing (for German towns it is too often like: I know this church is in town and it's not challenged.)
I'm missing here sections about climate, transport, demographics. (I don't like sections about famous people at all, without a reason to include person A but not person B)

not checked, in my humble opinion the lead should be structured and not a long section.
A few remarks from my side: References are given. The homepage of the community Stephanskircen contains the very most parts of it. For example pictures of the listed churches: [1]. Regarding "famous people". I listed just two. One of them had already an english article, so I considered him to be worth to mention. And then there is Otfried Preußler. No doubt he has significance.
