Abusive content
editThis page seems a little unfair to Mr Crainey at the moment. He seems to be the Leeds' fans favourite object for abuse at the moment but gives his all...will try and track down some refs --Spanker LUFC 17:03, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Removing sourced content
editI deleted the comment about a newspaper article linking Crainey to a transfer to Burnley, which has now been reverted. Newspapers carry these stories every day and, like this one, most of the moves do not take place - can someone explain why this should be in this section? If every similar reference was included the section for every current player would have to be much larger —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.110.121.84 (talk) 16:58, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
The content that keeps being removed is correctly sourced, relevant and accurate. The reason it is in the article is that at the time the story was a big deal for Blackpool. It wasn't a trivial story and it more than meets all the requirements for inclusion in the article.--♦Tangerines♦·Talk 18:58, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Correctly sourced. yes. The article states 'One report speculated that the Clarets were ready to bid £250,000' - speculated being the operative word, not that they did bid, or that anything came of it. Just another newspaper column filler, but you seem to think it's an important part of this player's biography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.111.187.27 (talk) 20:53, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
