editThe head of a branch of the NIH is intrinsically one of the most important and influential researcher-physicians in the country. Article needs great improvement, of course.
The title should be changed to reflect Stephen E. Epstein. There are a number of other Stephen Epstein(s) in the medical field - I'm aware of a pulmonologist, a neonatologist, and an emergency physician.
to improve it
editby removing all traces of self advertising, listing your published articles, , and following the format of other medical bios in Wikipedia. See WP:BIO and WP:AUTOBIO and putting it into the most sober directory-type prose that you can.
Then add at least two references to 3rd party reliable sources discussing your career or your work. Then say what you have done on the talk page, and remove the tag on your article
Otherwise it will surely be deleted (though not by me) Best wishesDGG 03:59, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
