Koroknay was the CEO and Executive chairman of Anzon Oil, a notable oil producing company in Australia which was included in the Standard and Poors/ASX 200 index of major Australian listed companies. Anzon recently ( November 2008 ) completed a merger with another Australian oil company.
Koroknay was the driving force for the development of the Basker-Manta oilfield which was the largest new oil development in offshore southern Australian waters since the 1970's.
Prior to establishing Anzon, Koroknay was also the chief operating officer of Bridge Oil, a listed Australian oil company which were merged with another company in the late 1990's.
