Clean up & expansion
editI recently expanded this article. I think it could really use some more info on his work though. And if anyone can find a source for his date of birth, that would be great. - Jaymay 22:16, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
Notability
editWords like "arguably" show the weakness of this article. There is a lack of sources establishing notability.Chemical Engineer (talk) 22:40, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Notability_(academics). With three books published by major academic publishing houses, a Professorship at a major American University, and an honorary Professorship at a UK University, and awards like the Jean Nicod prize, there is no doubt that he passes the "professor" test. Would someone please tell me how this guy's name is actually pronounced?
editEvery time I see SS's name mentioned in a book or article, I have one of those "damn it, I can't read anymore because I'm not sure of something!!" moments... Help me out of my misery: Is it pronounced like "stitch" or "stick" or what?
it is pronounced stitch — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.88.203.62 (talk) 01:43, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
