Justification by faith alone was radical???
editIn the section Stephen Williams (minister)#The great awakening, the first sentence states the following: "The radical idea of “justification by faith alone” was beginning to spread throughout the Connecticut River Valley and challenged the orthodoxy of the “Old Light” ministers from Boston, who continued to believe in the Calvinist idea of salvation owing to absolute predestination."
There are several problems with this sentence; the most glaring is that justification by faith alone is not a "radical" idea in Calvinism but a cornerstone of Reformed theology that stands side by side with the doctrine of predestination. This needs to be corrected. Ltwin (talk) 02:26, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
