editI've removed the reference to his name change and birth name, since those are just hearsay and I can't find any backing for them (and nor do I expect to be able to). Reference to a submission on the Civil Union bill will have to wait until I find out whether or not Parliament keeps records of that sort of thing. Hopefully the online reference will suffice for the reference to being the first NZ author published in China. I've left the 'lacking sources' tag for the moment, though, to see what other people think.Hughteg 13:15, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

It's just occured to me that this claims he recieved BOTH his qualifications in 1975, which would be impressive, but probably isn't correct
