Use 'Steve' or 'Thomas'?

edit

Wikipedia's style manual for subsequent use of a name makes it seem like "Thomas" should be used (̌e.g. "Steve's interest in military rations..." should be "Thomas's interest in military rations..."), but someone voiced their concern about that being confusing, presumably since Steve and Thomas are both traditionally first names. Can the community should come to a consensus one way or the other? Here's the relevant style guidance HPLeu (talk) 18:35, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Bit weird to say "born 1989 or 1990" when his year of birth is literally in his username.

edit

Shouldn't we just fix that to say "born in 1989"? Succubus MacAstaroth (talk) 07:55, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Probably is 1989, but it's WP:OR to assume. Best wait for a WP:RS. Rift (talk) 08:09, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
