editSteve Balderson is an award-winning film director. His movie Firecracker was named on Roger Ebert's list of the year's best films and stars Karen Black and Mike Patton. So his info should rightfully be included. Everything entered is correct as I am Steve Balderson's personal assistant. Thank you. - —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pipistrello2004 (talk • contribs) 10:44, August 25, 2006
- Please read the policies what Wikipedia is not and Biographies of living persons. Wikipedia is not an advertising forum; it is an encyclopedia, and entries must follow this format. Also, can you provide some independent sources corroborating your information? (See WP:CITE, WP:REF, and WP:RS). Thanks! - CobaltBlueTony 15:49, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- Tony, I've tried and tried. Maybe you could help me and make the changes yourself. Or, tell me what to omit to make it acceptible.Pipistrello2004 21:05, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
How do I change this entry to make it acceptable? I read through all of those links and it doesn't exactly give me specific directions to follow to make sure that this particular entry remains after 5 days. Can you please help? Thanks! Ella Pipistrello2004 19:17, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
What is allowed on a biography?
editI am an instructor at the Wikiversity film school so I have become aware if the impact of the Balderson Family on the development of independent filmmaking outside of Hollywood. From what I read above, I do not believe that the critics of this page realize the significance of filmmakers outside of the Hollywood system, specially successful filmmakers such as the Balderson Family.
Please tell me if it would help if some of the posters from Balderson's motion pictures were displayed on the article page. I am specifically talking about the posters for Pep Squad and Firecracker? Robert Elliott 02:48, 4 December 2006 (UTC) |

Neutrality Check
editThis article appears to extensively written by either Steve Balderson or his personal assistant. While the article is well written and referenced I think another set of eyes not affiliated to the article subject should look it over. In order to maintain a balanced and neutral point of view I would like to see if there is any negative criticism of his work and have it shown in the article. All of his work, which I am not completely familiar with, comes off sounding overwhelmingly positive with no negative feedback; which is rare in our media world. editmuch of the article is not sourced, it contains excessive detail, NPOV violation, no lead summary, COI violation... --JumpLike23 (talk) 05:07, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
