Steve definately did win a case. It is referenced in the strip where Opus is being dictated a letter to a former client. Steve states "remember who got you sprung on that technicality". -Dario

I'd be interested to know why the author chose 'Dallas' - I'm as certain as I can be that it was a natural choice at the time, as the frat boys at UT were mostcommonly Dallas or Houston, with the minority from other citys.Reply
I live in Florence, Kentucky, and there is an attorney here named Steve Dallas ("Steve" - as opposed to Stephen - according to the sign out front of his office), though i haven't located a web site for his law firm, and don't know anything about the guy, except that i believe he may be about five years older than Mr. Breathed, according to a cursory search, revealing a Classmates listing for him at the local high school here.
