Thanks for your input. This is my first whole article after 12 years of editing, so I do appreciate.

1. In WP:BLPSPS, I read that self-published sources written or published by the subject of the article are acceptable, provided they meet five criteria. I believe those criteria are met. Of the sources listed, only one was published by Gottlieb. The NGC/IC Project page is a scientific collaboration among several astronomers who are listed as team members. I believe the tag should be removed, or please explain the specific objection.

2. So is "prolific" always "puffery"? I don't think so in this case, but I will acquiesce. You're right that "American" should be there, and "prolific" would make for too many adjectives.

3. Not fond of the run-on sentence you made of Gottlieb's quotes; I'm inclined to revert it. Assambrew (talk) 01:05, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have added more third party sources, will remove the tag soon if no objection here.Assambrew (talk) 19:25, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Assambrew I don't mind if you remove it. You can revert the change I made to the quotes as well. Thanks for communicating patiently and giving me a chance to chip in. Hillelfrei talk 20:18, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Feedback from New Page Review process

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Do you have a conflict of interest with this person?.

I don't believe I have a conflict of interest. As a fellow amateur astronomer, I am acquainted with Mr. Gottlieb and have respect for his accomplishments, but we are not close friends. I did ask his permission to create the page. His only input was to verify his birth information. I was not paid nor receive any form of compensation. Hope that helps.
