editThanks to utcursch for wikifying the article and adding references. Was not sure how to do this.
Have been meaning to kick this off for a while. Have a lot of material to work with. Good to get at least a stub started for this awesome environmentalist. Will update and add as time allows. --DaHaqi 10:00, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
The removed text about Steve O'Shea being an extremely private person is very true. The user who wrote that, most likely knows that because he has also met Steve. How do you quote that? It should not have been removed.
- Yes, it should have been removed. Please see WP:OR and WP:V. mgiganteus1 (talk) 00:09, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
I was trying to contact Dr. O'Shea for an interview and when I reached out to him at his AUT e-mail I got this response from the server:
- "Dr Steve O'Shea is no longer an employee of AUT. Please redirect all enquiries re:
- 1. EOS (Earth and Oceanic Research Institute) to the acting director and Head Of School to Dr Len Gillman (email len.gillman@aut.ac.nz).
- 2. Post Graduate Study to Barbara Breen, Head of Post Graduate, School of Applied Sciences (Email: bbreen@aut.ac.nz).
- Regards
- Dr Len Gillman
- Head of School, School of Applied Sciences, AUT University"
Not sure what to do with that - but it seems that his bio needs to be updated accordingly, though I have no idea how to cite that for Wikipedia purposes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.56.39.70 (talk) 13:07, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
