editAnybody know if he's really that big, or if he wears a prop during the show? He looks like he's 12 months pregnant with triplets....
- He was really that big at one time and still equally as useless as Bobby Baccalieri. --Endless Dan 19:53, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

How does he pronounce his last name?
editi removed this uncited, unclear reference from his name:
<ref>Schirripa's last name is usually pronounced as ''she-REE-pah'' in America, though the correct Italian pronunciation is actually ''skee-REE-pah''.</ref>
Some version of that probably belongs in the article, but the way it was doesn't work. Too easy to misinterpret.
i presume the point of the note is to say that the American guy uses the American pronunciation... but the note doesn't actually say that. It could imply that he pronounces it one way in the US, and the other way in Italy. (For comparison, an American named Marc might go by Marco in Italy.) Then again, it could mean, "Most Americans use this new pronunciation, but Steve uses the original Italian pronunciation."
However he pronounces it, however anyone else pronounces it, no one should be able to say "You're pronouncing your own name incorrectly." The article should say how he pronounces it. But the article could also benefit from pointing out the different pronunciations (as the IPA bit does, even if i haven't learned to read it yet), so well-meaning editors don't mistake the pronunciation they know for the only correct pronunciation and change what shouldn't be changed.
On a side note, why was this reference the first link in the article but the second note in the References section?

- Yeah the removal of that is fine, the linked IPA does this job. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 13:24, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
