editI'm removing the WikiProject Buddhism banner from this article. Presumably, the subject is a Buddhist, but neither this nor the term "Buddhism" itself are mentioned in the article. I am guessing that this article would not fall under the scope of that WikiProject. Feel free to re-add but I think an explanation would be helpful. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:14, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Sources don't belong in External links- they belong here
editThese sources do not ever belong in External links. I have moved the link farm from there to this talk page where they do belong. Warning: I didn't check them over, so be careful in choosing any references here. Thank you! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 00:51, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

editSupport split - Discography section takes up more than one third of the page, and should be split to a new article entitled Steve Turre discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:50, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Missing credits
editTrombonist Steve Turre was a prominent member of Woody Shaw's band for many years and recorded studio and live albums with Shaw. All of these credits should be added to this page 98.15.52.12 (talk) 01:16, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- Disregard. I see the credits on a separate page. However his time in Shaw's band should be mentioned in his biography 98.15.52.12 (talk) 01:18, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
