He is one of the physicists of the lost generation as Freeman Dyson once called them, who created string theory before it had a name, and recieved next to no recognition. I think he is notable for his contributions with Chew and for statistical bootstrap at the very least, although I don't know very much about the details of the statistical bootstrap.Likebox (talk) 20:01, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
