Origin of this article
editThis version of the "Nettle" article was agreed on the talk page to be a mixture of information about plants with stinging hairs in general, the family Urticaceae, the genus Urtica and the species Urtica dioica (and its subspecies). As part of sorting this out, I have created this article with some new material and some moved from "Nettle" and rewritten. Peter coxhead (talk) 10:04, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
