Inclusion of surfing information
editAthryn, I beg to differ! Surfing is very dependent on wind conditions. The dominant Northwest wind blows onshore at Stinson, which is why the surf is usually not very good, even if the waves are large and the sandbars are good. On the other hand, if the wind is from the East, or very calm (as it sometimes is in early morning), the waves at Stinson can be excellent! But, no biggie, the text makes perfect sense as you left it anyway. ;^) --Fluffbrain 05:10, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- It is a beautiful beach whether the wind is blowing or not. PaulBurglin 20:12, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
removing statement about "oppurtunities for surfing"
editWikipedia is obviously not a surfing brochure so a statement concerning the quality off the local beach for hittin' up some killer waves is not called for.
Removing "35 minute drive from bridge"" with a more neutral statement
editEnough said
I just uploaded a painting of the Beach by Bay Area artist Selden Connor Gile. I tried to figure out a place to put it in the article, but couldn't find a place that was aesthetically pleasing. If you can think of a place, feel free to add the painting. Cheers, Olegkagan (talk) 08:00, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
