Dr. Guidolin has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:


Although there is nothing really wrong in it, I am not sure if the mention of other sources of capital raising for companies (sections:Limited partnerships;Venture capital;Corporate partners) are really pertinent as they are not really related to exchanges.

In the section "other types of exchanges" a mention/link to Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTF) would be beneficial (note that an article is already present in wikipedia, just the link is missing). More generally, the article could benefit from a mention (at least superficial) to its main mechanisms (market microstructure).

De Jong, Frank, and Barbara Rindi. The microstructure of financial markets. Cambridge University Press, 2009 may represent a source for this.
