In 1982. graduated from the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy (Prof. Zeno Paulauskas class), 1982-1984. He has studied with vocal educator J. Kepenienę. In 1984. S. Stonytė participated in all National Opera tour: "Verdianaeum Festival in Italy (Abigail), Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland (Abigail), the German city of Heilbronn (Agatha), the Netherlands (Aida)," estonian theater in Tallinn, singing Abigail, Echo and Lady Macbeth, Chicago Lithuanian Opera - Violet, Taiwan - Echo, Tel Aviv - Salome.
