Stooky or stookie?
editThe article uses “Stooky”, and mentions “stookie” as another spelling - but the link to the Science Museum collection favours “Stookie”, with “stooky” as the alternate. To be honest, “stookie” is how I am used to seeing the word, and is how I’d write it (I’m Scottish), but is there a source from Baird - or a contemporary of his - which gives an actual preference, and any information on who named him?
