well I watched it today and immediately following was just as Scorpion said. --MJHankel 04:03, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Algorithm?

edit

After exiting the maze, Lisa references an algorithm the apparently used to make it out - does anyone know what this is? JW 20:43, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It was Tremaux's Algorithm. - SigmaEpsilonΣΕ 21:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Springfield's location?

edit

A Fox promo for this episode (which I only saw once on the previous Friday) briefly flashed what may be Springfield's geographical coordinates. I think the latitude was something like 41.30 or 42.30 degrees North, but I don't remember the longitude. I couldn't find a clip of it on YouTube or Google Video or anything. Did anyone else happen to catch it? And yes, I remember Lisa seeing the Space Needle from the corn maze, but I'm almost positive that the promo said either 41 or 42 deg., and Seattle is at about 47.

Giuliani's appearence

edit

A little bit of information regarding his appearance in the Australian airing has been removed ([1]). Why was it removed? 143.92.1.32 02:49, 10 August 2007 (UTC) (user:Razorthe6249th)Reply

I have no idea, but it was probably the work of some ignorant American prick. He demanded a source, although I have seen the episode myself, and so did a whole lot of other people. I reverted it by the way.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.239.110.157 (talkcontribs) 10:34, August 17, 2007
Wow, you've seen the episode yourself, good for you. Trouble, that isn't a reliable source. Testimony from you, is not a reliable source. I know for a fact that The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson has never been aired on British terrestrial television, but it needs a source to support it doesn't it? Because how would anyone that doesn't live in Britain know? Gran2 10:48, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm Canadian. -- Scorpion0422 14:32, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
The appearance made its way into last night's British airing too. Adamravenscroft 09:43, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm not disputing that, but it needs a source. -- Scorpion0422 13:42, 22 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Can we list Rudy Giuliani in the episode's infobox as a guest star?--Steven X (talk) 06:45, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't see why not, so I did it Ctjf83 talk 09:11, 29 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:JABF12.jpg

edit

Image:JABF12.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

A minor edit suggestion

edit

The sentence "Strangles becomes adopted by Groundskeeper Willie, who places him in the fire hose coil." should probably be edited to read, "Strangles is adopted by Groundskeeper Willie, who places him in the fire hose coil." If we prefer the passive voice for whatever reason. I'd rather see, "Groundskeeper Willie adopts Strangles, and places him in the fire hose coil." I'll leave it up to the person who edits it (if indeed anyone does) which to use. It amuses me to see this article under semi-protection.72.67.93.133 (talk) 04:26, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stop Or My Dog Will Shoot! → ? – I am in general confusion on figuring out which title is actually correct out of the following variants as found on the internet:-

1. Stop Or My Dog Will Shoot! (as moved by @LetsPlayNintendoITA: today), in line with Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

2. Stop! Or My Dog Will Shoot (as moved by @Anthony Appleyard:) per tvtropes.org

3. Stop, or My Dog Will Shoot (as moved by @PeeJay:) per allmovie.com

It is probably debatable that the word "or" would be capitalized or not and where would the exclamation mark or comma should be in the title if there is one. Let's discuss which one is better. Hi, on Disney+ the episode is called "Stop! Or My Dog Will Shoot!" LetsPlayNintendoITA (talk) 16:24, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, on the DVD booklet for The Simpsons (season 18) booklet, they title that episode as "Stop, Or My Dog Will Shoot!", which I have not listed above. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 08:18, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
I have checked out several sources regarding the name. The script from the now defunct Simpsons World.com, The Complete Eighteenth Season DVD and the script cover all say "Stop, or My Dog Will Shoot!" Simpsons World, the book, says "Stop, or My Dog Will Shoot", without the exclamation mark. Disney+ says "Stop! Or My Dog Will Shoot!". However, I would say the DVD and script cover are evidence enough that it should be moved to "Stop, or My Dog Will Shoot!". Solar Dragon (talk) 14:39, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Support Stop, or My Dog Will Shoot! per Solar Dragon, who demonstrates that the preponderance of Simpsons-affiliated sources prefer that format. ModernDayTrilobite (talkcontribs) 20:06, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
