Origin of "SigmaEpsilon"
editThe name "SigmaEpsilon" is in no way related to and fraternity, sorority, or any organization whatsoever. When I first began using the Internet, my username for most situations was "SyntaxError", intended to mock poorly-coded websites. However, one day the name "SyntaxError" was unavailable, so I used the greek letters Sigma and Epsilon (ΣΕ) to represent the initial letters in SyntaxError.
I recently decided to retcon my name to fit with my signature: - SigmaEpsilon → ΣΕ
- The Σ, which links to my talk page, stands for the Greek word Συνομίλε, meaning roughly "you talk with [me]".
- The Ε links to my edit count and stands for Èπανόρθωσεις, which means "corrections".
