This article should probably be renamed "straw plait or straw-plaiting" and then more links could be made to it.
The plaited straw hat is not as common as it was before 1911, so the article seems dated

- No, it is straw plaiting - it has been known as that for at least two centuries. My village here in rural Bedfordshire has an original "Straw Plait School".Plingsby (talk) 07:08, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
