I created this article by moving some material about the Stretford Process from the Stretford article, where it didn't fit.
I believe the Stretford Process to be worthy of an encyclopedia entry, as one of the first commercially successful methods of removing sulphur from gas, but I recognise this article needs much work if it is to remain. I'm not a chemical engineer, but I'll do what I can with it, as soon as I can, unless someone better qualified would like to step in. ---- Eric 18:17, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
