I am a retired Fisheries Scientist/Environmental Scientis. I have had about 38 years of profesional experience in both governmental and private organizations.
I do enjoy "Stuff Happens". However, when I see an obvious error, I try to call it to the attention of appropriate people. Unfortunately, most TV shows do not seem to want such input. I hope this one does. I was watching the program that discussed cashmere fabric and the source of the wool. I was interested to learn of the goat industry in northern China. I believe that cashmere wool originally came from goats raised in Turkey. I'm not certain of this, but, I am certain that the cashmere wool does not come from the North American Mountain Goat, Oreamnos americanus shown briefly during the program. It seems that the show writers should be a bit more tuned in to biological subjects.24.2.4.213 (talk) 17:42, 19 January 2009 (UTC) For someone as iconic as Bill Nye, why isn't this show more well known? :( I really hope they make more episodes. If they aren't planning on more, we should petition. All the episodes I've seen on Planet Green were from 2008 (I think) darkcecil13 (talk) 02:36, 22 September 2009 (UTC) |
