Intake balancing problems?
editI seem to recall from my schooldays that commentators worried about the engine/intake configuration of the then new English Electric P.1, later Lightning. Something along the lines of "would it encounter the same difficulty in providing equal air supply to both engine as encountered by the Grognard?" Might well have been in Flight, or possibly Air Pictorial. Anyone have a ref or a more direct account of the Grognard's problem, if there was one?TSRL (talk) 19:43, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- On researching the article, I came across an article about the Grognard in the Royal Air Force Flying Review in the September 1968 issue. Unfortunately, I don't have that issue. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 20:01, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
