The Jewish Sudra is similar but very distinct from the Sudarium and requires its own separate page. While the Sudarium has connotations in the Christian tradition, the Sudra has its own references and understanding that is unique in the Jewish tradition although they are essentially the same garment. Wiki currently redirects Sudra to the Shudra page but this Sudra is distinct and has nothing to do with the Shudra or Sudra in the Indian tradition.
