Animated GIF for Exact Cover Visualisation
editCreated this GIF of a Sudoku solver that I wrote in Javascript - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Sudoku_Exact_Cover.gif, for visualising the solution by exact cover.
@MrOllie My revision is valid and cites reliable sources
editThe wiki is created by Andrew Stuart, a published author in Sudokus. And the video by Simon Anthony, former UK team member World Sudoku championships. They are very reliable and verifiable sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PedroContipelli (talk • contribs) 20:16, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- Outside of very limited exceptions which do not apply here, we don't use self published sources on Wikipedia. See WP:RS for details. MrOllie (talk) 20:26, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
Talking around the subject of larger Sudoku puzzles
editThe introduction talks about how the example methods work very quickly with 9x9 puzzles, but doesn't explain/reference larger sudokus. I feel like variants with more cells are pretty unfamiliar, so some sort of explanation of what that might look like, or at least another wiki article. Maybe Sudoku#Variations_of_grid_sizes_or_region_shapes ? Metzger411 (talk) 05:25, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
