-@Fylindfotberserk: It is unclear if she changed citizenship from Indian to Nepalese. I could not find any information on that. @Fylindfotberserk: To enter a normal public service in Government of Nepal, you must be a Nepalese citizen. But in the case of Sukmit Gurung, she had job in Nepal Pragya Prathisthan which being an organization to promote literature, should have different criteria for joining. I think she is available in social media, perhaps you can ask her directly. In my opinion, even if she is an Indian citizen, it makes no sense to relate her to Indian criteria because her contribution and reputation is completely based on Nepali music industry. @Nirmaljoshi: I agree to your points, but this policy is kinda limiting and many people here enforce it quite 'rigidly'. So if we have a consensus here, it would be better for future references. Can you tell me when did she migrate to Nepal and/or when she joined Nepal Pragya Prathisthan. Is this institution anyway linked to the govt. I was unable to find a verified SM account.
