The article stub for sum-over-paths is prefaced by the statment: "It has been suggested that this article or section be merged with path integral formulation."
I don't know who made this suggestion, as a talk page for this doesn't appear to exist. Nevertheless, I'll add my quanta's worth. IMHO, sum-over-paths is such a unique idea, and figures so significantly in interpretation of the Double-slit experiment that it deserves to be an article in its own right. --Bhruic 05:16, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
But sum-over-paths is just an informal term for the path integral formulation, so this should be merged (or just redirected). 142.3.164.195 21:29, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, this is a duplicate entry. To be merged (or redirected) into the more concise article 'path integral formulation'. Have added the proposed merger header again to restart the discussion. JocK (talk) 03:55, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
