Section 'Career'

edit

There's a template on section saying: "This section requires expansion with: include more details on her work in AKB48. Which team was she on? What was her first single? What were her election results and allocation? Why did she move to team B? And why was it considered a promotion? When did she graduate from SKE48? Or is she still affiliated with the group?. (March 2016)"

So there are questions like:

1. Which team was she on?
2. What was her first single?
3. What were her election results and allocation?
4. Why did she move to team B? And why was it considered a promotion?
5. When did she graduate from SKE48? Or is she still affiliated with the group?

1. Wasn't that said there already? :o 2. That was said there too, so.. why was that asked? 3. According to my source (I think it doesn't fill the criterias of valid and trustful source..):

1st Senbatsu Election - Not Ranked
   2nd Senbatsu Election - #31 (Undergirls)
   3rd Senbatsu Election - #34 (Undergirls)
   4th Senbatsu Election - #61 (Future Girls)
   5th Senbatsu Election - #52 (Future Girls)
6th Senbatsu Election - Not Ranked
7th Senbatsu Election - #49 (Future Girls Center)

^ EDIT: [1]

4. I don't have answer for this 5. She hasn't graduated from SKE48, see the profile listing on SKE48's official web site as a reference: http://www.ske48.co.jp/profile/list.php#e

(if anyone is interested in finding sources, then feel free to do so. I have almost no Japanese skills, so I'm not even trying) --84.248.188.30 (talk) 12:51, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for trying to answer the expansion questions. I'll try to clarify here what I am looking for:

1) A lot of this detail is already there in the article, but it needs to be sourced. Only the Kenkyusei date is listed. Did she participate in "River" as a Kenkyusei?

2) What was her first single? When was her first stage performance? What single did she first appear on, regardless of A-side or B-side? What did she sing? This isn't even sourced. Can you add the reference that shows this credit?

3) Election results can be sourced. They need to be integrated into the prose.

4) In moving to Team B, why is this a promotion? What team was she on before? If it was Kenkyusei, then yes, that's obviously a promotion, but if it's from Team A or Team K to Team B, how is it a promotion? Did she have more of a role on the team?

5) Regarding SKE48, the history should describe when she was added to that group? Is she concurrent with AKB48? If not, when did her concurrency end?

Hopefully in answering these questions, a more complete picture of her role in the group can be given. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 16:19, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

(first of all, I'm not native English speaker so.. there will be a LOT of grammar mistakes). Another thing: some of these things have happened before I even knew AKB48 existing and it would be pretty.. difficult to remember history for every of hundreds of members of "48-groups" (as I use to call them).

1) If there is some information we can't find sources for, it's maybe good idea to delete such a things. Article shouldn't, in my opinion, contain every single little detail.

According to Discography section on AKB48 Official Website, single 'RIVER' was released on 21 October, 2009. She was promoted to Team B on August 23, 2009 when they had a surprise shuffle on the second day of their concert (during evening concert) [2] so then she was a Team B member on single 'RIVER'.

2) Browsing through line-ups of AKB48 singles (from a certain wiki dedicated to AKB48 and and sistergroups whatsoever but it can't be used as a valid source as almost everybody can edit it) tells me the first single (A-side) was 'Chance no Junban' (AKB48's 19th single) and first B-side was on single 'RIVER' (AKB48's 14th single) so if I understand your comment correctly, 'RIVER' was the first single she appeared on (regardless of A/B-sides (remembers me of C-cassettes, lol!)) and first single (A-side) was 'Chance no Junban'. Seems like my explain is a bit... complicated. If her agency 'HoriPro' can be used as a source, then feel free to take a look at [3] ("「チャンスの順番」 (2010.12.8)"). Agency doesn't list B-sides..

4) She was a Kenkyuusei before being Team B member and I think that's why it's called 'promotion'. Sorry but I didn't see anywhere that moving from team to another is called 'promotion' (or did I miss something?). I think she didn't have more of a role on the team, as far as I know, she was "just a member like everyone else on the team".

5) By the way, I can't understand why article says "On April 25, 2014, she was transferred to SKE48's Team E." because 'Dai Sokaku Matsuri' (where the shuffle happened) was on February 24, 2014. [4]. According to that she has been SKE48 member since February 24, 2014 and is still a member of Team E. She has never been concurrent member.

I hope I understood all your questions and of course you're free to ask/clarify more if it looks like I haven't understood something :) EDIT: yeah, I'm relying on mobile connection at the moment - that's why I have different IP for this comment. --109.240.57.228 (talk) 20:49, 18 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
