Redirect needed? Should the articles be merged?
editSunnyside,_Queens article also exsists, same subject. Should there be a merger or redirect? 98.71.196.193 (talk) 19:00, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yes; merge. Jim.henderson (talk) 01:31, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think it should be merged. Possibly removed from the Queens Template Dialt0ne (talk) 19:07, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Note Sunnyside Gardens is NOT the same as Sunnyside. The Gardens refers to a specific historical district within Sunnyside. Cmprince (talk) 17:57, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- They should be merged. Epicgenius (talk) 14:50, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- I'm gonna contradict myself from 6 years ago and say they should probably not be merged (unlike some other historic district articles), because the apartment development is distinct from the neighborhood as a whole. Epicgenius (talk) 19:38, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

editI'm new to wikipedia and I added a photo to this page, should the photo needed tag be taken off? --Fishburd (talk) 16:44, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
Content Error -- Location of Sunnyside Gardens.
editThe article says that the community is located between Queens Boulevard and the Sunnyside Railroad Yard. That's a bit misplaced.
The eastern boundary of the Sunnyside yard is the west side of 43rd Street. The western boundary of Sunnyside Gardens is across 43rd Street on the east side.. The actual boundary of the community is 43rd St on the west, 39th Avenue on the north, Skillman Avenue on the south and 47th Street on the east. Queens Boulevard is two long blocks to the south of Skillman avenue.

- ^ My personal recollection. I grew up in Sunnyside in the 1940s and 1950s and the railroad yard was essentially my playground and I had many friends and schoolmates who lived in Sunnyside Gardens. I also spent much time at the Sunnyside Gardens home of my cousin at 39-65 43rd St.
