Cd Single on a sunday?!
editCd single on a sunday?!.. shouldnt it be download on the release history?! as cd singles are sent out on a mnday in the uk?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.19.136.124 (talk) 20:05, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
The song title is included in a UK Deluxe edition of the album...Pink Friday (Super Bass Edition)
editDoesn't that in itself note that 'they' are giving importance to the song? (I guess that they want buyers to 'rest assured' that they will receive "Super Bass" with their purchase.)
Maybe this shouldn't be mentioned in the LEAD, but it should be mentioned somewhere in the article.—Iknow23 (talk) 06:49, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- Its inclusion here isnt warranted as a simple title inclusion is WP:UNDUE; by asserting that its notable simply by an Amazon release is POV. It may be warranted under Pink Friday (tracklisting) but not here. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 06:59, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I guess alright then.—Iknow23 (talk) 07:07, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- The song's title is included as part of the title of a UK Deluxe edition of the album, Pink Friday (Super Bass Edition).[insert ref here]
Would that be acceptable, as stating no conclusions, just the facts?—Iknow23 (talk) 02:11, 23 June 2011 (UTC)- Unfortunately im still going to oppose the addition (others may oppose my oppose if they wish then we will go from there).. although i appreciated the work you put into trying to reword it and to the article itself, i still fail to find why this is notable, its a title in one country, i think its WP:UNDUE in this article. Where would it go anyway? its not background on the song, and it doesnt fall under any of the other headings that we use, hence i dont think its notable here. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 03:59, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, was just wondering. I appreciate your appreciation. :) —Iknow23 (talk) 22:23, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Is the 'single' credited differently from the album track?
editHere's an industry source showing "Nicki Minaj f./Ester Dean".HERE I know that the album credits Dean with 'additional vocals' but not as a featured artist. Does this mean to not show Dean as featured in the album track listing (because she is not shown that way there), but to show her as 'featured' at this 'single' article because she is being shown as 'featured' on the 'single'?—Iknow23 (talk) 22:58, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm, ive never heard of that source before. Anyways Dean is definitely not featured on the song, its Minaj's song Dean simply has background vocals, a feature is where she actually has a line/section of the song and conflicting sources (google Super Bass) and it will say its her song, EG: Music video, its actual release on iTunes/Amazon does not in anyway imply this is a feature song, just simple background vocals. Hope that clears everything up. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 23:06, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. I had to 'bring this up' because I keep seeing the single with the 'featured' on it. I had been just ignoring it but finally thought I should actually see what someone else thought about it. Thanks again.—Iknow23 (talk) 23:48, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
SUPER BASS CERTIFIED GOLD IN NEW ZEALAND.
editShould you add a "CERTIFICATIONS" thingy and acknowledge that Super Bass has officially been certified gold in NZ.

Lead Vocals
editI added the lead vocals as Nicki Minaj since I saw it wasn't included, don't know if I should have but it seemed necessary? Feel free to correct me if im wrong!--Jakeriederer (talk) 21:34, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
Biased Intro
editThere's no doubt that the intro two paragraphs are biased. I'm not saying they're bad, but they sound like they were written by a 16 year old. I.E. Uncited and riddled with unnecessary words to make it sound more sophisticated (I mean really, do we need to include that she's from Trinidad on her single?) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Impornant (talk • contribs) 16:41, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Track listing?
editWhy isn't there a track listing for the single? Or did the single simply consist of the track itself? (Jeimii (talk) 02:26, 5 November 2011 (UTC))
Crunk Coco
editIs he relevant to this article? I think he should be deleted. He isn't mentioned in the MTV article citation.
Video
editAre the 5 guys in drag there anyone special -- band members or something?
I figured it was the same guys as elsewhere in the video, but seeing as the final scene has all 10 together, this seems unlikely.
And who's Mr. Cameo (robot dance) at the end? Forgive me for not being up on these things! 66.105.218.12 (talk) 00:45, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Release history
editWhatabout the US release?http://www.webcitation.org/5xbiePcKJ --Nikinikolananov (talk) 12:42, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Go ahead and add it if you wish. Just PLEASE remember it is a radio date and not a 'release' date. According to your source it means 'impacting' radio.—Iknow23 (talk) 03:06, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Super Bass
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Super Bass's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Wrong key?
editThe song Super Bass is actually in G-sharp minor and not B major. Please correct the key on the article. Ssjhowarthisawesome (talk) 01:48, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
What i said in this section is probably my error. On the sheet music for "Super Bass" at musicnotes.com, the mentioned originally published key is G# Minor, but the correct originally published key is B Major. Not all of the originally published keys at musicnotes.com are correct. Ssjhowarthisawesome (talk) 22:59, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
