Variant Rules

edit

The super scrabble rules need to be updated. My friends and I have discovered that a MUCH better way to play the game is making each rack EIGHT letters. A "bingo" is using ALL BUT ONE of the letters and you still get fifty point bonus! If you can bingo WITHOUT using the blank on your rack you are doing very well! A SUPER BINGO is defined as using ALL EIGHT tiles and you get a huge SEVENTY FIVE point bonus for that! The only other rule change necessary is that there must be EIGHT letters minimum in the bag for an exchange.

  • Saying here that the rules need to be updated implies that this article has out of date rules. This is not true. You have given an interesting variation on the rules. Please do not confuse things by suggesting that they are the official rules or should be referenced as such in the encyclopedia. WAvegetarian 09:16, 24 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
