What happened to Supermarine? Was it bought, or did it go bust?

It was bought by Vickers-Armstrongs just before the war and Vickers itself later became part of the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC). Ian Dunster 17:45, 19 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
