DicDef stubs and other messy matters

I'm not sure this sort of topic is really worth having, specially with tatty stubs barely above dictionary level, and since the terminology has been in flux - more modern terms are multi-parasite host and multi-host parasite for two of the terms in the area. In addition we have hyperparasitism redirecting to parasitoid when there's an article on hyperparasite and everyone can see there's a bit of a mess in the whole area. And don't get me started on why parasitology only talks about parasites bigger than bacteria (yeah, microbiology, upstairs and along the corridor) but excluding plants, both somebody else's territory. Why don't we see if we can collaborate to sort out our coverage a bit better? Whether the current article and others like it should be merged is a question. It seems to me from some sources that superparasitism does not mean being attacked by many parasites simultaneously, but rather it means the parasite female or females (not necessarily conspecific) laying more eggs on the host than possible for all of the eggs to fully develop.
