Merge Supraorbital notch here?

It's not clear to me what the difference is between the "supraorbital foramen" and the "supraorbital notch". The material I have found, such a articles and diagrams, would support the conclusion that they are different and that they are the same. Jason Quinn (talk) 23:08, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

They are indeed different structures, but they are variable. Some people (or specimens) have supraorbital notches, while others have foramina (holes), while others have one of each. In both cases the structure facilitates or allows passage of the supraorbital nerve. See: Laryngoscope. 1986 Mar;96(3):311-5. BostonJim (talk) 20:02, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

I always thought they were basically the same thing. However, I checked my anatomy book and it has a picture showing they are indeed two separate entities. That being said I do not think they merit two separate articles. I believe one article for the "Supraorbital foramen" should merely make reference to the "supraorbital notch". I have cited the source below, I can attach a copy of the image but have not as I believe it would violate copyright.

I've completed this merge, and moved the section on 'supraorbital notch' to a 'variation' section in the supraorbital foramen article, per the comments above. LT910001 (talk) 07:30, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

Merge into brow ridge
