Tribe Colours
editThe colour for the Goliath tribe isn't dark enough. It's more dark magenta. The merge tribe is light blue, not white. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.157.184.176 (talk) 00:32, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
1st voted out differences
edit@Katanin:, @Paintspot: So, the reason I think Jessica should be called the "2nd voted out" is because Probst literally referred to her as the 2nd voted out, not the first. There has been a lack of consistency of past seasons on how to handle this issue, as sometimes Probst skips the person who gets medically evacuated/quit, but other times he counts them in as the "voted off" category. For example in Panama, One World, and Caramoan, he counts the medically evaucated person as a voteoff, while in Kaoh Rong, he skips the person(s) who is medically evacuated. Thus, to keep it consistent, I think it is best to just follow how Jeff announces they are voted off. VietPride10 (talk) 16:36, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- @VietPride10: That method, to me, seems inconsistent. There's no logic as to why Probst picks certain seasons to count the medevaced players in the "voted out" numeration but not others. We should pick a consistent method that lines up with the factualness of the statements (e.g. Jessica was not actually the second person voted out of the season). - Katanin (talk) 17:29, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Katanin: To me that method is consistent because we would always just refer back to how Probst annouces them voted out, while it would be inconsistent when in the episodes Probst says ___ is the 3rd/4th voted out, and then on the Wiki page, they're actually listed as the 2nd/3rd voted out. I think everything should line up with the episodes. VietPride10 (talk) 18:10, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- @VietPride10: Why are we letting an arbitrary production choice override fact? What makes Jessica the second person voted out of the season, when no one was voted out first? Just because something is factually incorrect in an episode doesn't make it true. - Katanin (talk) 18:40, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Katanin: Again, I have repeatedly told you that Probst referred to her as the 2nd person voted out, and this is not the first time this has happened. I was just trying to keep consistency between the episodes and the wiki pages. You're acting as if this has never happened before, when in previous seasons it has. My whole point is just to follow what Probst says - when it's "fact" or an "arbitrary production choice". VietPride10 (talk) 21:16, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- @VietPride10: "What Probst says" fails WP:NEUTRAL. Katanin (talk) 22:02, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Katanin: Well alright then, I guess the inconsistency of how they're voted out can stay, since we can't seem to agree. VietPride10 (talk) 03:19, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

David/Vuku and Goliath/Jabeni
editNeither David or Goliath are referred to by Vuku and Jabeni prior to the expansion. No even the tribe flags, which usually have the tribe's actual names, also refer them to David and Goliath rather than Vuku and Jabeni. Sinjoh2015 (talk) 01:21, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- I think the most proper fix would be just to have the pre-swap section referred to as David and Goliath tribes, with a note explaining it. VietPride10 (talk) 01:22, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- The reason why they weren't addressed as Vuku and Jabeni in the pre-swap is because they were acknowledged as David and Goliath which was shown by their flags and chyrons. Formerly in Survivor: Nicaragua they were known as "Younger Tribe" and "Older Tribe" before the swap into La Flor and Espada, but those names were on their buffs. As the swap has chyrons denoting Vuku and Jabeni, it would be incorrect to keep addressing them as their former names in future events. 135.196.1.74 (talk) 14:53, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
However, in Survivor: Cagayan and Survivor: Kaoh Rong, the tribes were referred to as brain, brawn, and beauty. In the tribe swap, when Julia went to the Brawn camp, it was called To Tang. Were those names in the flags?
- Short answer, yes. Google is your friend https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/survivor/images/3/3b/To_tang_flag.png/revision/latest?cb=20160218203246 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.23.197.204 (talk) 18:30, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- And when David/Goliath changed names to Vuku/Jabeni the flags changed along with it - https://imagesvc.timeincapp.com/v3/mm/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fewedit.files.wordpress.com%2F2018%2F10%2F112407_17467b.jpg%3Fw%3D2000&w=1000&c=sc&poi=face&q=70 82.23.197.204 (talk) 18:34, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
Update the Episode boxes people
editIs anyone going to update them? We're about to head into Episode 7, and only Episode 2 has a summary. Every other season, the sections for each episode would get written the day after the episode's premiered.
- You could? 135.196.1.74 (talk) 07:31, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
Section about advantages/disadvantages?
editAny thoughts on adding a section regarding the Players and what Advantages they've found/had and how they played them? (Idols, Nulifiers etc etc)
Just curious - I don't wanna try to edit the main page, never editing anything before and just have it removed or disliked by the community of editors for this page. RyanSchlosser25 (talk) 14:45, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- The episode summaries cover when/how advantages are played. Including a separate section when it's already covered would be trivial. 135.196.1.74 (talk) 11:46, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
Dan Idol Nullifier
editI put an edit a month ago on the season summary about the idol nullifier on Dan's vote out, and following the finale, my edit was removed. Why?
Nick Wilson Link
editNick won the season. Can someone please create a Wikipedia article for him? Because I don't know how to.
Survivor jury vote table discussion
editThere is a proposal at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television/Survivor task force#Jury vote tables to list the vote totals in the same order as the names in the finalist row immediately above the vote totals. All interested editors are invited to join that discussion. Since the Survivor task force appears to be inactive, I'm notifying Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television/Reality television task force and the talk pages for each Survivor season in order to reach interested editors. Schazjmd (talk) 16:50, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
Format
editThe voting chart is formatted differently than every other season. No other season has colors for votes. Someone should probably fix that 76.165.97.2 (talk) 01:53, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
