editOn Monday, 2 September 2013 in a Spanish shipwreck of the 18th century, 140 km in front of coastal Fort Pierce in less than 5 m depth, diver family Schmitt has discovered a gold treasure worth 300,000 $. Bent Brisben, co-founder of 1715 Fleet - Queens Jewels LLC, the treasure seeking company the Schmitts work for, said that the ship belongs to a fleet of which in 1715 on their way back from Cuba to Spain have sunken 11 ships in a hurricane. Of treasures worth 400 mio. $ values of 175 mio. $ have already been recovered.
