I believe this is a high importance article in Sussex. High importance articles for counties should not be limited to towns and cities, and the Sussex county cricket teams are well known in Sussex. However, it does need a thorough clean-up to conform to the WP:MOS. If an Sussex cricket expert could look at this and edit accordingly, this article has the potential to reach B-class status. - Well, it remains fair comment. The article was created several years ago as an introduction to early Sussex cricket. It has scope for considerable expansion and it should comply with current MOS standards. I have numerous relevant source books so, time allowing, maybe I'll get around to it someday. Message for Mark Asquith
editHello, Mark. If you are still looking in and you see this, can you please let me know if I remember rightly that you have the book about early Sussex cricket by the Squires? I believe their book has largely been superseded by Tim McCann's book but I'm wondering if it provides any additional angles or opinions we could use in this article, which I would like to expand and bring up to date. Would appreciate any input you can provide. There is no rush, though, as I don't have a lot of time for WP now and I'm seeing this as a medium to long-term project. Thanks very much. - Well, I know you're here. Any thoughts about this, although I have got my answer from other sources in the meantime. Jack | talk page 14:46, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
