To do list
editThese are improvements that could be made if anyone has time:
- Provide more information (discussion, progress) for each indicator. Scour all the links on the HLPF website.
- Add some images (from Wikimedia Commons)
- Work on the lead to make it better summary of the article.
- Improve readability, make sentences easier to understand for laypersons.
- Find good progress reports for SDG 4, find out who the custodians for the different targets are (if they exist)
- Find progress information for some of the indicators which so far don't have progress information provided.
- Add more wikilinks to other articles in Wikipedia and vice versa (link back to SDG 4 from those other articles).
- Find Wikipedia articles that explain some of the key concepts that are used in the SDG 4 article. We should not have to create new articles - often times they exist but just under different names.
- Find more references that need to be cited. EMsmile (talk) 06:33, 8 September 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for the suggestion. We added other wikilinks, especially other SDGs to emphasize the correlations of the SDGs. Addition of other SDGs to relate to SDG 4 (SDG 12 and 13), the impact of COVID-19 and the educational system failure, and the proposal indicator of SDG 4.7 from SDSN. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PkzN1 (talk • contribs) 22:33, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Add A Fact: "UNICEF Education Strategy 2019–2030 goals"
editI found a fact that might belong in this article. See the quote below
To meet the vision brought forth by the Education 2030 Framework of Action and SDG4, UNICEF released its own Education Strategy 2019–2030, ‘Every Child Learns’, outlining three distinct goals: (1) Equitable access to learning opportunities; (2) Improved learning and skills for all; and (3) Improved learning and protection for children in emergencies and fragile contexts.
The fact comes from the following source:
Additional comments from user: UNICEF has a significant impact on advancing this goal.
